I am unable to select a new vault. Some was signed in on my computer and I can't sign that person out and sign me in??? How do you reset user/new vault? Could someone please call me to help me sign on to 1 password...................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

  • Greetings @hjj83718,

Are you referring to the menu option 1Password > New Vault...? If you are it's only enabled when you're viewing your primary vault. So switching to your primary vault from a secondary one should be all that is required. If this isn't the question you were asking and I've misunderstood could you elaborate for us please

  • Hi @hjj83718,

I've just merged your two threads and the second thread seems to be asking a different question.

1Password is a single user application. We rely on the fact that OS X has great multi-user support and so each user has their own account and their 1Password data is stored in their account.

The only way to start over is to remove the current vault so please be aware in case the existing data is required. If you're sure this vault is not required and can be safely disposed of then our How do I start over with an empty vault? guide is what you're looking for.

Let us know if that helps.
