"Operation couldn't be completed" error
I'm now getting the following message, frequently (as in every 5-10 minutes) as a pop-up window:
"The operation couldn't be completed. /Users/[myname]/Library/Application/Scripts/2BUA8C4S2C.com.agilebits.onepassword-osx-helper/1Password_Autosubmit.script: 36:52: execution error: System Events got an error: AppleEvent timed out. (-1712)"
Any idea what's wrong or how to fix?
I'm running:

OS X Yosemite 10.10.5

Hi @Mark Blumenthal,
Thanks for including the error message and all the relevant details and version numbers! Very helpful. Please give these steps a try:
- Open 1Password.
- Click the 1Password menu, hold down the Control key, and select Quit 1Password and 1Password mini.
- Restart the Mac.
- Relaunch 1Password.
That should put the error message to rest. Please let us know how it goes! :)

@iamecho Sorry you're still having trouble with the app after following the steps Vee posted. Could you please give this a try?
- Quit 1Password and 1Password Mini
- Open Finder and click Go > Go To Folder…, then input ~/Library/Application Scripts
- Move the 2BUA8C4S2C.com.agilebits.onepassword-osx-helper folder to the trash
- Open 1Password, click the 1Password menu, click Preferences, and select Browser
- Disable and enable Automatically submit logins after filling
Let us know how that goes! We're around to help out. :)

@Vee @penderworth Happy to report so far so good! The spinning cog wheel in the tool bar still stays on an excessively long time and sometimes doesn't go away. This isn't a new problem for 1P but I did think it was fixed .. seems to be making a come back. Bottom line the program is usable but hopefully this bug can be squashed soon :) Thanks for all your quick help - this forum is terrific.

@iamecho Glad to hear you're able to access your 1Password data now. :) As for the spinning cog issue, I'd like to ask you to create a Diagnostics Report from your Mac so we can further investigate this:
https://support.1password.com/diagnostics/mac.html
Attach the Diagnostics Report to an email message addressed to support+forum@agilebits.com.
Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.
You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here so we can track down the report and ensure that it is dealt with quickly. :)
Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thank you!
