Syncing nightmare
Hi-
I need help. I've been dealing with this syncing nightmare issue for a long time and cannot get two machines using iCloud to sync.
- Macbook and iMac are both using 530029
- I'm syncing with iCloud
- iMac won't sync to same data even though it says it sees the data. (I think there is another file out there somewhere).
I've done the "Reset iCloud data" on both machines.
At this point, I deleted the entire app from the iMac and started from scratch there.
- I sync'd a blank file to iCloud.
- I re-sync'd my macbook to iCloud.
- The sync process said it was going to merge the two accounts.
- The iMac would not sync until I added a new file to the local vault. (You need a "Sync Now" button)
- Now the the iMac has sync'd, it's showing 128 items and my Macbook is showing 145 items. Under logins macbook=132 and imac=116.
What gives? I can see the specific logins that are missing from the iMac? e.g. a Dropbox account. Why is this login and others missing?
There's more, but let's start with this. Ideally, I'd love to get my iPad and iPhone to properly sync. I'd also like to get certain logins off my backed-up iMac vault (from when it was NOT syncing) onto my ideal single vault.

@bikeguy: Thanks! I see that we've received your email and Greig has replied, so we can continue the conversation there. But in case it helps you or anyone else:

No. 1Password doesn't sync the data. iCloud does. If we added a 'sync now' button, it would merely be a placebo, as 1Password has no control over when iCloud syncs. ;)
Ultimately we'll get your devices all using the same vault rather than syncing separately and merge the data. We'll get this sorted out for you!
