Don't know if I purchased direct or not. I am in Yosemite 10.10.5 with IOS devices 8.4.1 how do I
set up sync since my Hard Drive on iMac was reformatted by Apple Retail Store.

@lor: We don't have any records under your email address, so you may have purchased from the Mac App Store. In that case, we won't have any record of it, as it is owned and operated by Apple. But you can download it again from the App Store at any time since it is tied to your Apple ID. Just go to your purchase history and search for it.
If you're still having trouble finding it, please check your records, as you'll have an email receipt regardless of where it was purchased. It should also include transaction details that may help track it down.

As far as sync, you can use Dropbox regardless of where you purchased 1Password. It's how I prefer to sync my 1Password data. And your 1Password data is end-to-end encrypted, so 1Password simply doesn't depend on the sync service to protect your data. 1Password is secure by design, not by chance. iCloud Sync is restricted to apps purchased from Apple.
