synchronize primary and secondary vaults to each other
i love the ease of creating and sharing vaults in 1Password 5 for Mac! I've copied several log-in items from my primary vault to my secondary vault and shared that secondary vault with another team member. Does 1PW automatically sync items between my primary and secondary vaults? Otherwise if I edit a shared item in my primary vault, i would have to go into the same shared item in my secondary vault and make the edit again? i'm using 1Password 5 version 5.3.2. My Mac is OS X Yosemite version 10.10.5. i'm syncing the secondary vault with a team member via Dropbox. I know the secondary vaults will sync between me and my team member on Db but my question is the syncing of my primary and secondary vaults on my Mac.

Hi @macthebest,
When you copy an item from one vault to another (via Item > Share > [vault name] > Copy), you're creating a new item that has the same information as the original, but otherwise it's a completely separate item (it's a lot like right-clicking an item and choosing Duplicate to create a copy). So, changes to one won't sync to the other. If you make a change to one, you would need to remember to manually update the other one as well.
Is there a reason why you need to keep 2 copies of that item? If not, you could delete the copy from your Primary vault, and just use the one in your secondary/shared vault.

Thank you Drew. Totally perfect solution. Just go with one item in the secondary vault and delete the duplicate item in the primary vault. It's so easy to toggle between vaults on the Mac so this will be perfect.
