If you bought your license within the 30 day refund window, AgileBits will refund your money and you can buy a copy through the Mac App Store. But Apple provides developers with no way to move a license from a developer to Apple. If you are outside the refund window, you will need to buy a license from Apple if iCloud syncing is important enough to you to justify the added expense.

@nuxbox @sayfritz hawkmoth is exactly right. If you have already purchased 1Password 5 for Mac from the AgileBits Store are within our 30-day refund window, then let us know and we can process your refund and you can repurchase via the Mac App Store. @nuxbox I see a license from 2013 which means you received a free upgrade to both 1Password 4 and 1Password 5 for Mac. If you wish to use the iCloud syncing version of 1Password 5 for Mac, you will need to repurchase via the Mac App Store.

@AGMarshall is that really the only way? As much as I love 1Password, i can't justify paying another $60 just to get the app store version. Are you guys working on a way to somehow move Web Store user to App Store?

@nuxbox As much as we would love to have a way to move AgileBits Store licenses to the Mac App Store it is out of our control. Apple simply doesn't have a mechanism in place to make the switch.
You can use Dropbox syncing with the AgileBits Store version of 1Password 5 for Mac. Or if you absolutely need to use iCloud syncing, you can wait until 1Password goes on sale and purchase at the sale price (we are also unable to give individual discounts in the Mac App Store)
