Can´t activate the 1Password FireFox Add-on in Vers. 40.0.3
I am using FF 40.0.3. (Mac OS X) and can´t activate the 1Password Add-on. Using 1Password 3.8.18. Before i´ve updated to FF 40.0.3 (using FF. 39.8.) the add-on still works fine. I´ve worked on your issue https://discussions.agilebits.com/discussion/45782/trouble-with-old-1password-3-firefox-extension-not-working-in-firefox-40-and-later and also try to get it work with Beta-Version. Nothing works fine. Right now the button is available in Firefox but if i click a new site try to open and receive error "Firefox does not know how this address should be opened because of the following ( onepassword4 - extension ) not a registered protocol or not permitted in this context ." and "a 1Password App has to be installed to let add extension work probably"? Can you help me out?

@urbandivision: A few things:
1) You have an older version of 1Password 3 for Mac installed. The last version was 3.8.20. You have 3.8.18. Please download 3.8.22 via this link.
2) The 1Password 3 browser extension isn't compatible with Firefox 40.
3) As a current 1Password 3 for Mac license holder you are able to purchase the upgrade to 1Password 5 for Mac at a 50% discount via our upgrade store:
You will then follow these instructions to upgrade to 1Password 5 for Mac:
