@philth69: What part of our website did you change a password on? 1Password isn't a web based service so you cannot change any of your logins (username/password) on our website. You have to do this from within the 1Password program itself.
Please let us know exactly what you did and what version of 1Password you are using.

I am using version 5.3. I went on the website to check how to change the main password and followed those instructions. Then I went into the Preferences window to Change Master Password. There are no browser extensions. The App just sits on the Mac toolbar at the bottom of the screen. The password hint reflects the chosen replacement password; but this will not open the vault. Perhaps I typed the new password incorrectly - but twice? The New Password has to be verified.

Hi @philth69,
Are you syncing your 1Password vault between the iPhone and the iMac? If so, how? Dropbox, iCloud, or Wi-Fi?
When you change a Master Password on one device, you'll need to unlock any syncing devices with the old Master Password one more time, allow them to sync, lock 1Password again, and then the new Master Password should work. Let us know if this helps!
