1Password 5 saves my eSellerate Personal Information but won't fill it in
I clicked the Buy button for this Take Control Book: https://www.takecontrolbooks.com/el-capitan-upgrading
In the overlay screen, I clicked the Checkout button to proceed to Take Control's eSellerate cart. On a previous purchase, I'd saved the Step 3: Personal Information fields (with the Never Submit option). But when I asked 1Password to complete that portion of the page, only the first Email Address field was filled in.
I manually filled in my Personal Information and asked 1Password to update my saved login just in case the eSellerate form had changed. But when I try using my updated login, it still only fills in the first Email Address field.
I'm using Safari 8.0.8 on OS X 10.10.5.

Hi @Ward,
It looks like "Step 3" of the checkout process on that site is basically for your billing address info. To make sure I understand, when you say "only the first Email Address field was filled in" do you mean the only field that was filled was the first email address field (and all other fields were blank)? Or do you mean the other fields were all filled correctly, but the second email address field was blank?
Also, it sounds like you created a Login item to fill that form. Is there a reason why you did that instead of using an Identity item? Logins work best for signing into a website with a username and password (which are different for each site). To fill information like a billing or shipping address when making an online purchase, Identity items will work better, as they're meant to store names, addresses, job titles, email addresses, and other information related to a particular person. It's similar to using a Credit Card item in 1Password to fill credit card details when making an online purchase. We have information about creating & using Identities in this section of the User Guide.
I tried using an Identity item to fill that form on the site, and it worked correctly for me (including the second email field). If you try that, does it work for you?

Hi @Drew_AG,
The Login item I created for the billing information fills in the first email address field and nothing else. Since I've had success using Logins for many, many similar forms, I thought it was worth noting the problem with the eSellerate form.
Although I've been using 1Password for a loooong time, I've not taken advantage of the Credit Card and Identity features until now. They work great with the eSellerate checkout page. Bravo, AgileBits!
Thanks,

That's great @Ward, I'm glad the Identity item works correctly for you on that site! :) And hopefully using Identity and Credit Card items will make that kind of process easier for you in the future as well.
If you run into more problems or need anything else, please let us know. We're always happy to help. :)
