Keep getting Backup Failed notifications every 5 minutes. Very annoying.

Hello Scottmkennedy. Do you have a Dropbox account? If so, attempt to synchronise the vault via Dropbox instead. I will be glad to further assist you if necessary. I suggest this because, though I do not have or use the Mac app store version, I need to know if I am able to isolate this as an iCloud-specific issue. Moreover, what is the entire error message? The title of your initial post does not contain its entirety. I hope one of us can solve this understandably frustrating issue.

    Hi @scottmkennedy,

"Backup failed" is actually not related to sync, it's referring to the automatic backups that 1Password saves locally.

You may be able to solve that just by restarting 1Password mini. From the main 1Password app, go to Help > Troubleshooting > Restart 1Password mini.

If you keep getting the error after restarting mini, please let us know. Thanks! :)

Right on, @scottmkennedy! So glad to hear it. Thanks for following up with the good news. :chuffed:

Hopefully 1Password will behave perfectly from now on, but you know where to find us if you need anything else!
