HELP! I bought 1Password months ago and very promptly forgot the password. I have tried your instructions to create a new vault but the login page seems to have a cursor with its own agenda and won't let me sign up a new vault. How do i get to use this software. I must have it before i go mad!

Are you prepared to start fresh from scratch? There actually isn't much choice in the matter, if you have truly forgotten your master password. There is no back door; the only way into the vault is to supply the master password.
Given that, I suggest you follow the instructions on How do I start over with an empty vault?
