1Password 5 won't open

1Password 5 won't offer to accept my 1Password 4 password. Instead it wants to know where my data is. it does not ask for a password like version 4 did. I have no idea where the data is. Why doesn't it just open with my master password like version 4 did?

    Hi @bruhl,

If you're using the AgileBits Store version of 1Password 5 for Mac (as opposed to the Mac App Store version), your vault should be at this filepath: ~/Library/Application Support/1Password 4/Data/OnePassword.sqlite. But 1Password 5 (AgileBits Store version) should have found it there automatically if it was there, so I'm guessing it's not.

If you've ever used 1Password 4 or 5 from the Mac App Store, that version stores its vault at: ~/Library/Containers/2BUA8C4S2C.com.agilebits.onepassword-osx-helper/Data/Library/Data/OnePassword.sqlite. Do you find one there?

If not, we may need you to send us a Diagnostics Report from your Mac, which will help us locate your vault if it is still there. If you do email us a Diagnostics Report, please include a link to this thread so we can make the connection, and post here with the Support ID# from the automated reply you receive.

I'm hoping you didn't use any kind of Mac cleaner utility to uninstall 1Password 4, because those have been associated with accidental deletion of vault data. Please do let us know if you used CleanMyMac or anything like that.
