I bought combo Mac/Win a while ago - for our family. Now do I need to do it again for 1pw5
I have MacbookPro running Yos. with a partition running el Cap beta. I also have a VMWare virtual disk running Win7 My wife has M'bk Pro running Yos. We bought a win/mac combo pack of 1Password4 a while ago. Now do I have to upgrade to ....5? Or should I? and from where? I understand I cant do it from you and sync with iCloud. Would like to speak or chat with someone

I want to know pros and cons of upgrading to 1password 4 from you, from appstore.... and how much to pay for the upgrade so we can use it as described above. Best to talk with soeone about this

You don't HAVE to upgrade to 1PW5. You probably SHOULD, as it is a free upgrade, but it is your decision.
As you have the Mac/Win bundle, you presumably bought direct from AgileBits. In that case, you should upgrade from AgileBits, as (due to restrictions by Apple) if you want the version from the App Store, you would have to purchase again.
The only technical advantage of buying from the App Store is that it is the only way to use iCloud sync. But Dropbox sync is available in all versions, and has some advantages over iCloud.

Now to your question. As danco has covered you already have a licence to run 1Password 5 for Mac as it was made free to all existing 1Password 4 for Mac customers.
