New MacBook - Need to purchase 1 Password again?

I purchase a new MacBook and transferred my 1Password vault via Dropbox. Everything has worked for the past month or so, but I just received a message saying that my tutorial is up. Do I need to purchase 1 Password again on my new computer?

You do not need to purchase a new license, since licenses are provided per user and per platform. You are entitled to install it on as many Macs as you use yourself. But you do need to install the same license file you used to validate your previous installation. It sounds like you didn't do that yet. There is a link in the email message that your received when you bought your license to click to install that license. Just click that to install the license on your new Mac.

If you need to have your license resent, go to the bottom of the AgileBits main support page and enter the email address you used for your original license. The information you need will be resent to you.

@andrew_wrestler: Indeed! Unfortunately 1Password has no way of knowing whether or not you've purchased it unless you register the app with your license information.

But the good news is that all you need to do is follow the instructions in the license email you received from your purchase and click the link to automatically install the license in 1Password to register the app and remove the trial restrictions. In that spirit, I've also resent your license information via email. Cheers! :)
