sync via iCloud stopped working

I have a Macbook running Mavericks and upgraded my iMac to Yosemite. Since then the sync via iCloud between the two is not working.

@matiasch There was a major change with iCloud syncing with the release of Mac OS 10.10 Yosemite. So much so that it is no longer compatible with earlier versions of iCloud (which you are running on your Mavericks machine). Until such time that you are able to update your Macbook to Yosemite, you will need to switch to Dropbox syncing.
