I am running a trial version of 1Password 4. How do I get a licence for it (not for version 5)?

I am under MacOS X 10.9 (Mavericks) and want to skip Yosemite, so I am not interested in 1Password 5.
I have a licence for 1Password 3 for Mac, but I see nowhere on your website the possibility to upgrade to 1Password 4.
If that is not possible, how do I downgrade to version 3?

The license for 1Password 4 is exactly the same as the one for 1Password 5. Version 5 was a free upgrade for version 4 users. So you should buy the license for version 5 and apply it according to the directions you will receive by return email to your trial copy of version 4. And you'll be all set for version 5 when you are ready to use it.

I hope hawkmoth's reply helped. Should you have any follow up questions please don't hesitate to ask
