1 Password Crashes whilst trying to connect to iCloud
Hi,
Whilst trying to connect to iCloud, I am presented with the the message, enable iCloud. It is enabled. I have disconnected iCloud and restarted it. Have checked for the existence of the mobile document folder.
Every time I attempt to connect to iCloud which has iCloud drive enabled 1 password crashes. I have click to send the error message to you several times.
I am a skilled software engineer - please only post tried and tested solutions.
1Password Version: 5.3

Hi @studio,
Can I ask, at any point in the past have you used 1Password's iCloud Sync and then deleted 1Password's iCloud data from Apple's iCloud interface?
If you have then you've run into an iCloud bug in 1Password that we are aware of. My next question to you would be do you have an iOS device? We have a set of steps that will fix this but the reset to iCloud currently requires 1Password for iOS. I don't know the specifics as to why this is the case, merely this is what the fix requires.
If you can confirm if both are true and we will contact you with the solution.

Hi @studio,
If you're trying to start over that should drastically simplify the steps as we're not working with existing data.
Can you try creating a new and empty vault in 1Password for iOS please (How do I start over with an empty vault?) and enable iCloud Sync there. After it has completed you should find you can start over on the Mac and it will allow you to sync to this empty iCloud container. As you can see, the bug is on the Mac side and writing a fresh iCloud Sync container to iCloud using 1Password for iOS allows us to workaround this bug until we have a proper fix in place.
If you have existing data that you want to use the steps are different so please let us know.
