  • @Daveroberts What version of the Mac app are you using? There's the Mac App Store version, which has iCloud sync, and the one from the AgileBits website, which does not. If you have the MAS version, what happens when you try to sync? Is there an error or a simple standstill, or something else? That info will help the team find the issue. :+1:

I do have the App Store version.
When I start to sync, after I select iCloud I get a message saying "Looking up iCloud information...." Then nothing beyond that.

    Hi @Daveroberts,

We've received several reports of an iCloud sync issue over the last couple of days, and it seems to be caused when the iOS device is low in power. The steps we suggest are:

    1. Cancel out of the Sync screen where it is stuck on ‘Looking up iCloud information’
    2. Make sure Low Power mode is off. (Go to the phone’s general Settings -> Battery) You might also need to connect to power if battery is low.
    3. If needed, switch to Wi-Fi (get off cellular data) and wait for 1Password to attempt an iCloud sync.

In most cases, this fixes the issue. Please let us know how it works for you!

I didn't have low power mode turned on. I did try turning cellular data off and using wifi but got the same results.
    I appreciate your help.

  • @Daveroberts Thanks for trying Vee's suggestions. Could you try resetting your network settings as per this post? Some users have reported that fixed the issue. Make sure to read the post before resetting, though, as your remembered WiFi networks will be forgotten. ;) Let me know if this helps!

It worked. Although not immediately. Reset network settings, turned off cellular data then logged into my home network and nothing. Same gathering iCloud information dead end. Went to dinner at a friend's house and when I got home, tried to sync again and voila.

Thanks for the follow-up, @Daveroberts. Glad to hear that it worked eventually! Let us know if you have any more trouble with it or any other questions about 1Password. :)
