Credit card: category vs. login

Hell all. Just purchased the software and converted from Lastpass. Wondering how you all keep track of your credit cards in 1Password. The credit card template captures all the specific card information, except the website login which requires a separate entry. Do I essentially have to have two different entries in 1Password in order to use the credit card template as well as the website login for the credit card?
Thanks!

    Hi @tastyroadkill ,

Great name. Reminds me of Mario's Dog Taco Stand - "You curb 'em, we serve 'em" !

Use Credit Card entries to help populate web forms when you purchase some item online.

Use Logins for the web site login for your banks and credit card companies.

You'll have two distinct entries, but the segmented data falls along the lines of the different usage scenarios. You rarely need the bank web URL, username and password to order something online, and you rarely need your credit card number when logging into your credit card bank site.

Credit Card and Login entries react differently - Logins are "enabled" when you are browsing as web site - the URL matches, so 1Password will fill in credentials.

When on a credit card form, 1Password can offer to fill in the credit card details,

The two serve distinctly separate purposes.

Thanks for the reply. That answers my question in good detail.
