I have 1password and 1password5 showing in apps (Mac) - how do I delete1password?
I have just bought a new macbook pro and while reviewing the apps after migrating from the old macbook pro I note that I have 1password loaded and also 1password 5. How do I (or should I?) delete 1password so I only have the one version operating. The 1password5 has done the most recent backup so seems to be functioning OK.

First, you should know that 1Password.app is the version from the Mac App Store. If you rely on iCloud for syncing, only that version will give you access to that. 1Password 5.app is the version from the AgileBits web store. I cannot use iCloud for syncing, but otherwise is functionally essentially identical.
You should shut quit 1Password and mini completely. Directions are in item 1 on this page. Then just drag the app you don't want to the trash and empty the trash.

1Password.app could also be 1Password 3 for Mac. You can tell by the icon. If it has the same icon as 1Password 5, then it's the Mac App Store version of 1Password 5, but if the icon has a key and a lock, then it's 1Password 3. In that case, this upgrade guide may help you.
