Hi @cherlin,
I'm glad you're taking the time to ensure your 1Password data is backed up! As we often say around here, "you can never have too many backups." ;)
1Password for Mac automatically backs up your data, and those backup files are stored locally on your Mac. We have information about that here: How do automatic backups work in 1Password?
It sounds like you want to backup your 1Password data to a flash drive, and that's definitely a good idea! The easiest way is to simply copy one or more of the 1Password backup files to your flash drive. To find those backup files, open 1Password and go to the menu for 1Password > Preferences, then select the Backups tab and click the Show Files button. The folder that open in the Finder will have your 1Password backups. You can copy one or more of those to your flash drive (if you only copy one backup, you'll probably want the most recent file).
I hope that helps, but if you have more questions, please let us know. :)
