I have a new computer with a 5 license agreement. The license is not working.

I recently replaced my Mac computer and transferred over my 1 Password account. I did not realize until today that it was operating on at 30 day trial. I tried to put in the license. When I click add a license I get the following file: [Removed by AgileBits]. It will not open.

Thank you,
Anne Domescek

    Hi @adomescek,

I'm sorry you're having trouble with your license for 1Password! These are public forums, so I've removed the license info & phone number you included in your post.

1Password 5 for Mac is activated with a license file. When you install it on a new Mac, you just need to add your license file to activate it. It should be pretty easy, and we have information on how that works here: How do I add my license to 1Password?

I was able to find your license in our system and I had it resent to your email, so you should be able to simply click the appropriate link in that email to apply your license.

Now, I see that you just made a new purchase for a 1Password 5 for Mac license yesterday, but it looks like you already bought a 1Password 5 for Mac license last November (2014). Did you mean to purchase a second license for the same version? If not, just let us know and we'll be happy to refund the new purchase for you. Thanks! :)
