Dropbox sync stopped working on it's own. It is working my other devices

Sync will not let me select a folder. It stopped syncing on it's own on one device, but is syncing properly on two others. I have shut the other devices off just in case there is a limit on users.

When I try to manually sync to a folder or dropbox, I am able to add the destination path, but it won't let me engage. When I try it as a folder the 'Continue' button is grey. When I select sync with Dropbox from the pull down, the continue button is clickable, but nothing happens.

  • Hey @James_Kern72! Could you try a test file to your Dropbox and seeing if that displays properly on your other devices? This will make sure Dropbox is syncing properly.

I did. FYI I already went through the steps on the help pages. This one machine is having the issue, others are working properly. Dropbox is working fine on the machine too.

    Hi @James_Kern72,

It sounds like your issue may best be resolved over email. I'd like to ask you to create a couple of Diagnostics Reports from your Macs. I ideally one from the machine where syncing is not working and one from a Mac where syncing is working.

    https://support.1password.com/diagnostics/mac.html

Then attach the entire file to an email to us: support+forum@agilebits.com

Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.

A short note here once you've sent the Report in will help us to keep an eye out for it. :)

Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks in advance!
