How to replace license?

Hi there,

I am currently running 1Pass with my soon to be ex employer's license. I would like to buy a personal license and replace my current with my private one. How do I insert a new license?

    Hi @erica_appleseed,

    Thankfully the process isn't too bad. If you purchase a licence there will be instructions on how to apply the licence to your copy of 1Password. In the case of replacing a licence the steps don't change, the new licence will overwrite the old one. The only gotcha is you can't see it until you quit 1Password completely using the keyboard shortcut ⌃⌘Q and then restart 1Password. The new licence will now show and you're done.
