bought 1password, not in app store. Want to use icloud

Hello,

several month ago i bought 1password not in the appstore. I wonder if it is possible to change between the version bought at the agilebits page and the appstore page. Or do i have to buy the app store version to make use of icloud.

    We do try to be fair but the purchase was bought a number of months ago as you say. I don't enjoy writing these kind of responses as I want to help but it is significantly outside the refund window we have :( I am sorry.

    I notice you purchased the Mac & Windows bundle. If you want to synchronise between a Mac and a Windows machine iCloud won't be an option available to you anyway. It's the same reason why the AgileBits Store version of 1Password for Mac can't iCloud Sync - only apps or applications obtained from one of Apple's stores has the permission to and Apple don't sell Windows software via their stores.

    Is it the case that you have discounted Dropbox as a sync solution? it works over all our platforms and versions of 1Password so it's the cross-platform cloud service we recommend. It might be you have reasons and that's fine, if I've learnt anything it's people are passionate about their cloud service. If you don't object to Dropbox though it may very well be an alternative worth looking at.
