WiFi sync after upgrade to iPhone 6s not working

I got my iPhone 6s yesterday (had a 5s before) and am trying to sync and load my existing vault via WiFi. All my iphone apps settings are retired from a complete backup and there but for this. The vault is empty, so I am attempting to sync my existing vault on my mac via IFIi. I have always used WIFI to sync my vault, and it always worked. After seeing my laptop, and entering the secret, the app says "sync in progress" but then answers stops with error 60 "Connection time out".

I have rebooted my devises several times, nothing seems to work. I do not want to use any other method of syncing.

Here are some specs:

MAC
Yosemite 10.10.4
1Password 5 , Version 5.3.2 (532001)

iphone
iOS 9.1
1Password 6.0.1

iPone 5s synced perfectly
No external Firewall
No changes made to MacBook or WIFI

1Password Version: 5.3.2
Extension Version: 6.0.1
OS Version: 10.10.4
Sync Type: wifi

@yankee_girl: Wow! You already installed the iOS 9.1 beta on your brand new iPhone 6S? That's dedication! ;)

Probably not related, but be sure to update OS X to 10.10.5. It seems likely that the issue lies on the iPhone 6S. It may be that the network settings there were corrupted when you restored from a backup of your previous iPhone.

The timeout error your getting means that communication isn't getting through, either because the other end isn't responding or something is blocking it.

Since you didn't mention the OS X Firewall, try disabling that first to see if it helps. And if it's already disabled, turn it on, and then back off. Sometimes the preferences simply become damaged and result in things being blocked that shouldn't.

Ultimately it may be necessary to reinstall 1Password for iOS or reset the network settings on the new iPhone, but let's try this first and see what turns up. Please let me know what you find! :)

I had to re-install the app but then it worked. Thanks for the tip and help!
