Is the Mac App Store version compatible with El Capitan?
I use 1password on my bot ios device, so now i'll sync all with icloud on my mac. My only simple question is: is the version on Mac App Store tested for El capitan? Works 100%? If yes i'll quite download from the Store tomorrow. Thanks.

@iFabio: There are currently some issues affecting 1Password for Mac version 5 on OS X 10.11. Most are cosmetic, but there are also some odd crashes affecting some users and an strange OS X quarantine bug that is preventing 1Password mini from functioning properly until its permissions are fixed. I'd say wait for the final release on the 30th and we'll be able to offer a more definitive answer. Cheers! :)

Ok, Brenty. I'll wait. Just a thing. I'm student and i know your student plan that offers discount for 1Password. Sadly the only (but relevant) difference between the Mac App Store version and the web store version is the iCloud Sync. My answer is this: is not possible to have a student version with iCloud Sync for iOS device? Last thing: if i decide to buy the non-Mac App Store App with education program and use an alternative sync method like dropbox wich other advantage should I have? Is the app more updated? The actual version from web store works with El Capitan or is the same version as Mac App Store (with same problem you told me?).
Thanks in advance for your patience and your help to decide the best solution for me. I'll appreciate. Till now i'm a very satisfied customer of 1Password. Have a good day!

@iFabio: Unfortunately Apple does not offer educational discounts in the App Store.

It sounds like (at least if I were in your shoes) the primary advantage will be the educational discount!
But in all seriousness, besides iCloud support, there won't be a difference between the Mac App Store and AgileBits Store versions. The Mac App Store version may occasionally be delayed briefly during App Store review, but we do our best to plan and compensate for this. And of course if you do purchase the Mac App Store version, you're still free to use the stable or beta from our website (they can use the receipt contained in App Store version as the license). Aside from the betas, they are the same app.
The one thing I will say though is that if you are keen on getting the newest features and fixes as fast as possible, the beta channel is where you want to be. As we implement fixes or workarounds for 10.11, for example, they will (and have already i some cases) show up in the betas first. That said, while we make every effort to make sure everything works before releasing even a beta update, it is prerelease software, so there will be bugs. So you'll always get the best experience by sticking with the stable version, regardless of where you choose to buy it. I hope this helps! :)

Just bought from Web Store. Does not work. Tried the last 5.4 beta 42 and does not work. Can`t open 1Password because failed to open 1password mini. If I lunch 1password mini separately it works as stand alone. Anyway also if 1Password mini is running the 1password App give the same error and can't open. Just to let you know this. I'll wait an update to fix.

Hi @iFabio,
5.4 beta 42 is the latest compatible update, there aren't any more changes coming unless we can reproduce your issue.
Please try this suggestion and see if it will work: https://discussions.agilebits.com/discussion/comment/236706/#Comment_236706
