When will 1Password 6 come to the mac??

Searched the forums, maybe I'm blind but couldn't find anything about this. When do you think that 1Password 6 will come to the mac? I would love to have diceware support for my security questions! Not to mention the new blue...

The answer is I genuinely don't know but you may not believe me as we're not allowed to discuss future releases anyway. Sadly this is one of those questions where we probably won't offer much in the way of satisfaction :wink:

All I can suggest is to keep an eye what seem to be the traditional outlets for announcing these days, those being Twitter and Facebook. We announce everything there including sales when they happen although that won't be much given you're likely an existing user.

Sorry I can't offer anything more concrete.

We do plan to bring Diceware generator to the Mac and the rest of 1Password apps in the future but we don't have any information we can share right now. 1Password 5.4 is the next update we will release with support for El Capitan soon.

I see the capability of generating a wordlist-based password in iOS Version 6.0.1 but not on the Mac Version 5.4. Sure would like to have it on the Mac.

@Lzrman38: Frankly, we would too! And while it's definitely on our todo list, we did just release a brand new version of 1Password for iOS, so as you can imagine things are rather busy right now. Thanks for letting us know you're interested! :)
