How Can i deinstall 1password After i forget the Main password?

I forgot my main password and i can't find a way to create a new database.
When i deinstall the 1password and reinstall i am asking for the old main password.

Could you please give me a instruction how to solve the problem?
The old database can be deleted.

The article from the link in Stephen's reply should help you to start over with 1Password on your Mac, assuming you're using 1Password 4 or 5. Hopefully you're all set, but if you need more help with that, please let us know. :)
