Option to sync via iCloud not accessible unless bought through App Store
Hello!
From searching around your forums I've realized you cannot sync via iCloud unless you've downloaded your verison through the App Store.
As an Apple Employee I've gotten a license for free and was wondering if there was a way to use the license you've emailed me to get the version that's in the App Store?
I use 1Password on my iPhone and it syncs with iCloud there just fine.

Doesn't Apple make your license available through the Mac App Store?

Nope, I thought they would give me a redemption code but agilebits emailed me with a link to download it directly from the website.

I'm sorry, but we at AgileBits can only offer products from our own store; Apple owns the Mac App Store (as you know), so we're unable to give away anything from there. If Apple wanted to give free apps to its employees, that would be up to Apple. (Maybe they do! Check with your manager or HR rep?)
We're hoping to be able to add iCloud sync back into the AgileBits Store version of the app eventually, but at this time it's not possible due to sandboxing restrictions.
