I had a problem with 1Password loading on my Macbook.
After going to the troubleshooting, it said to delete the copy and reinstall either downloading it from the website or the Apple Store. I chose to use the App Store on my MacBook, thinking it would see that I had already purchased it but got charged again from Apple. I already have a license from Agile Bits but didn't realize that the original time I downloaded it was from the Agile site. How can I get my 49.99 back? I've now paid twice?

The problem is that AgileBits has no control over, or access to, the Apple App Store. I'm afraid that means that you have to take up direct with Apple your request for a refund in respect of the mistaken purchase from the App Store.

Hi @johnfink,
Sorry for any confusion about that! The Mac App Store has no way of knowing if someone already purchased a license for 1Password from our AgileBits Store, so the Mac App Store version of 1Password is a separate purchase.
You should certainly be able to get a refund for your Mac App Store purchase - however, we can't process refunds ourselves for items sold on Apple's App Store. Apple maintains all control over transactions including refunds. You'll have to click the Report a Problem link on the receipt they sent you, and request the refund from them. It is also their sole discretion to grant a refund.
If you have more questions about that, or if you still need help with the AgileBits Store version of 1Password on your Mac, please let us know - we're here for you! :)
