why can't i access 1password. i never had a problem for years.
I get a window offering to set up a new account or allowing me to access existing files

So it might end up being a red herring but I'm curious. You've posted in the 1Password 3 for Mac forums and you've definitely reported a version number consistent with that. The curiosity is you say you're syncing via iCloud and 1Password 3 for Mac doesn't offer iCloud Sync. Now 1Password 4 which is compatible with OS X 10.9 can sync to the old iCloud (opposed to the newer iCloud Drive) so I'm just wondering if iCloud is a clue as to what might have happened or a smokescreen to the real issue.
Can I also ask, have you installed or removed anything recently or has the Mac complained of any errors?
