os system requirements
I'm running mac os 10.6.8 and firefox 40.0.3 and 1Password 3.8.22 on my Macbook. But I cannot upgrade the OS cause I don't want to lose support for Appleworks. The shortcut /command won't work cause I'm using Firefox above version 40. What's the minimum requirements for 1password 5? Can I upgrade to 1password 4? What are my options? I've already purchased 1Password 5 for my iMac and it works fine.

Hi @1.password.user,
The OS X requirements for our various versions of 1Password for Mac are as follows.
- 1Password 5 requires OS X 10.10 or newer.
- 1Password 4 requires OS X 10.8 or newer.
- 1Password 3 requires OS X 10.6 or newer.
So if you're unable to upgrade your current version of OS X then you are currently running the newest version of 1Password for Mac compatible with your Mac.
As the for issue that you're experiencing with Firefox. We have a page that discusses your options and that page is 1Password 3 extension missing in Firefox 40 or later. The heart of the issue is that the last version of Firefox that we developed the older 1Password 3 Browser Extension for was Firefox 26. So things have moved along somewhat. The page will discuss how Firefox ESR will offer a small reprieve while you decide what you would like to do more long-term. By small reprieve I mean that Firefox ESR 38 will continue to receive security updates until May 2016. The page will cover all of this.
Should you have any questions at all from any of this please do ask
