Why do I need to buy 1Password for Mac?

I have 1Password with the Pro options enabled on my iPhone. I have the trial version of 1Password on my Mac. I can store my new data on my iPhone and then continue to sync with the Mac version (using wifi). So why do I need to buy 1Password for Mac?

Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: OS X 10.10.5
Sync Type: Wifi

    Once your trial expires, you will no longer be able to add new data or edit existing records on your desktop. Multiple vaults can only be created on the desktop version.
