1password does not fill in anything when i use it on my desktop Mac. It works fine on my iPad. Why?
I have used 1Password successfully on my iPad for a long time. Updated recently to newer version. Also purchased it for my Mac desktop. 1Password does not fill in any usernames or passwords on the desktop version. I don't see any options such as a "key" or other user interface to make it work What gives?

In order for us to help you please tell us:
- What version of 1P for Mac you are using
- What browser you are using
- The 1Password Browser Extension version

Hello @PatFarmer165,
I suspect the cause will turn out to be our 1Password Browser Extension and I think it's lack of presence. Extensions work very differently in iOS compared to OS X. Our iOS Safari Extension has to be contained inside our iOS app and works with iOS Safari in a very specific way which is what I suspect you're used to. 1Browser is also quite different to how we do things on OS X as before iOS 8 we had no way of interacting with Safari at all. The only way to allow 1Password users to make use of their Login items was to create a self-contained browser that could access the vault.
OS X is very different. For starters you have a proper choice in what browser you want to use and we don't have any of the restrictions that are in place in iOS. So here we develop the extension independently and it must be downloaded and installed for your browser(s) of choice before 1Password can interact with it. We have a page in our guide on this which you can find here, Installing browser extensions and with the extension installed our page, Using a saved Login will show you how it works on a Mac.
Now I may be well off base with what the issue is, this is just my initial thought. If I'm wrong please do let us know but I think this will all help. Hopefully you'll be reporting success
