Feature Request ? Modify fill-in field names

For Autofill - There are many website Login Fields that do not always conform to the usual Fill-in fields names like Username, Password, Last name ... etc.
It would be nice if one could set the Field Names required within the 1Password Login creation, when the websites deviate from the norm, for a particular Login. As an example - a Login may require a Membership # and birth date to login;

As a suggestion when adding a new login in 1Password, make the field names editable e.g. 'Username' could be changed to Member Number and the 'Password' field could be changed to 'Birth date" - The defaults would be what you have currently.

I do know that one can set up the 1Password item and do copy & pastes to fill the fields.

This is just a suggestion.

    Greetings @sabatin48,

    It's just my own personal preference but I like to call a Login item created from within the main 1Password window a basic Login item. The reason I title it in this way is because all it knows is a username and password and 1Password has to guess when you try and fill using this Login item as it doesn't know anything about the page it needs to work on.

    There is another approach though and that's when you create a Login item from within your browser using our 1Password Browser Extension. When save a new Login item here the extension makes good use of the opportunity to look at the web page and more importantly what information needs to go into which field on the page. There is a way of manually doing this which we cover in our page, How to manually save a Login.

    I think this will have a big impact on how effective 1Password is for you - it's probably one of the most useful pages in my opinion from when I first started visiting the forums as a user myself. Please let us know what you think :smile:
