I have just upgraded 1password3 to 1password5, and then i couldn't add license
I had 1Password 3, that is no longer compatible with my safari (Yosemite OS). So I opted for the discounted upgrade. After that I downloaded the 1Password 5 from the agilebits website. After the download, i couldnt add license because i dont know how, the only options is to re download from the app store, but it will cost me more? so what to do?

You should have received an email from AgileBits if you purchased the upgrade. That contains a clickable link that automatically installs your licence.
The email could have got caught in your spam or trash folders. Look there, and ask again if there are still problems.
There shouldn't have been any trouble purchasing the upgrade from the purchase page, but I wonder if you had difficulty there.

Hi @laurensh,
I also wanted to add that I verified that the email address we have for your license is the same one you are using for your forum account. If you still haven't received the license, please send us an email at support+forum@agilebits.com and we will see if we can figure out what is going on.
Thanks!

I have clicked the link you suggested, and then i checked the license again. Now the license have my name on it, a thank you, and a purchase date. Is there anything else I need to do? Now, the next problem for me is to use the 1password with my safari, what do I do? Thanks

So long as you've followed the steps in this knowledge base article and successfully added your licence you're all set:
How do I add my license to 1Password?
Now, the next problem for me is to use the 1password with my safari, what do I do?
If you haven't already done so you need to install the 1P browser extension in Safari. This knowledge base article will help you with that:
