How do I retrieve my 1P5 license instead of my 1P3 license?
I absolutely love 1Password and have purchased every version as soon as it was available. I am running 1P5 on my MacBook Pro and my understanding is that my license allows me to run 1P on other computers I own. While using my MacBook Air recently I went to edit a 1P entry only to discover "my trail period had ended, please purchase a license." When I clicked on the link to "send my license" it came back with my license for 1P3. Therefore, I went to back to my MacBook Pro and clicked on the link there to "send my license" and it also came back with my 1P3 license. How do I retrieve my 1P5 license (purchased on 6/5/14) instead of my 1P3 license?
Or is my understanding incorrect and I have to buy a separate license for each of my computers?
Any help anyone can provide is greatly appreciated!
Sincerely,
scdda

You definitely need only the one licence.
Since you are using version 5.3.2 I assume you bought direct from AgileBits. But could you possibly have made the purchase from the Mac App Store but be using the AgileBits version?
Or could you have used a different email address between purchasing and now looking for the licence?
Those are the possibilities that occur to me. Someon from AgileBits staff will be along in due course, and will be able to see what their records show.

Hi @scdda,
I'm sorry you're having trouble finding your license for 1Password 5 for Mac! Your understanding is correct - a license for the Mac version of 1Password allows you to use it on all of your Macs. If 1Password 5 is activated with a license on your MacBook Pro, it sounds like you purchased it, so I'm sure we should be able to get this all sorted out.
I tried searching in our system for the email address from your forum account, and I only found your 1Password 3 for Mac license. Is it possible you bought the upgrade with a different email address? If so, you can try entering another email address in the "I've lost my license" section of this site.
Or as danco suggested, perhaps you bought the Mac App Store version of 1Password? If so, you should be able to launch the Mac App Store on your MacBook Air and find 1Password listed in the Purchased section (make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you would have used to buy it). If you find it there, you should be able to install it. The first time you open the Mac App Store version, it should find your data from the AgileBits Store version.
If you're still having trouble with that, please send us an email at support+licenses@agilebits.com in case we need any information (like an email address, receipt, etc) that shouldn't be posted on these public forums. Please also include a link to this topic and your forum username so we can "connect the dots". Thanks! :)

Drew_AG,
You are my new best friend! :-)
Brilliant suggestion and you were exactly correct...IP3 was purchased with a personal email address and IP5 was purchased with a business email address. I would have NEVER thought of that possibility.
Thank you SO much for taking the time to offer such a helpful solution!
Have a great day,
Randy0
