How can I get 1Password to fill in forms?
When I go to https://mymembership.carolinas.aaa.com/ to renew my AAA membership, I have to enter a member # + name, address, zip.
I would really like a way to save that information in 1Password so that it can fill it in automatically. This information functions like a login but has no password.
Is there any way to train 1Password to fill in this information? If not, I think there should be.
Thanks.

The usual solution for problems like this is to re-create and save the login manually. Have you tried that?

Thank you! I didn't know about that. I found the Save new login command and it worked!
I had some problem because Chrome periodically stops accepting 1Password input. Restarted and it works fine.
Thanks for the tip. Gotta remember that gear.

Greetings @zabouti,
The Chrome bit may very well be related to Chrome having an update pending. Chrome will automatically download new updates in the background and apply them when you next restart Chrome. The problem is it has an impact on the extension. Typically if our extension stops working I bet Chrome will say there is an update waiting to be applied if you open a new tab and visit
chrome://chrome/
Manually saving a Login item transformed how I use 1Password. Up until then I used to create all my Login items from within the main 1Password window. Having the extension look at the page and see what needs to be filled where makes so many more places usable with 1Password

Nice to have a possible explanation. My solution is to restart chrome - then 1PWD starts working again. Kind of a pain since I usually have a boatload of tabs open....
Thx,

@zabouti: I hear you! I have a bit of a tab situation myself. (Un)fortunately Chrome updates invalidate the signature, so 1Password won't be able to work correctly until it is restarted to apply the update...but if course this is an important security feature, so better safe than sorry! :pirate:
