app store login
I have saved my login for editing my Apple ID (website https://idmsa.apple.com...) and this works perfectly. I would also like to use 1Password to log in to the App store (same ID and same PW) but never get the invitation.
1Password Version: 5.3
Extension Version: 4.4.4
OS Version: 10.11
Sync Type: iCloud

1PW fills in logins on web sites, but won't do it on apps such as App Store.
What I do is go to the App Store, fill in my ID (easy to remember as it is one of my email addresses), and then open 1PW Mini, search for Apple - which would give the site you mention, and copy my password from there.

Hi @peter1942,
Did danco's answer help you at all? He's quite correct, we can't interact with OS X prompts or prompts created by other applications. Our browser extension works as it interacts with the browser to alter the HTML and inject the information, something we can't do in the same way elsewhere.
A variation on danco's approach would be to use 1Password mini to view your Login item for Apple and then use the keyboard shortcut
⌘O
(that's uppercase o just in case it wasn't clear) to anchor the item. That way you can click on your email address in the item to copy it and do the same with your password.Hopefully something in one of these posts helps

Thank you both for increasing my understanding of 1Password, and for the helpful tips
