Personally, whilst I was waiting for it to come up on sale, I set up a Google Alert.
That way, you won't miss it if it doesn't appear in your Twitter or Facebook feeds.
In fact, it's how this thread was brought to my attention ;)As a side note, after having used 1Password for a few months now, I would have happily paid full price knowing what I get now.

Lots of kind words from many people here and I confess, none of us tire from hearing that 1Password serves you well :smile: Heck, it wasn't that long ago I would have been on your side too. Just to clarify, I still love 1Password and I would quote Mr Heston as to what somebody would have to do to take 1Password away from me. The difference now is I'm also part of the team so I do have to try and maintain a level of professionalism... well as much as a stick figure is required to do anyway :tongue:
@av8rdude: My answer would have been the same as hawkmoth's. I know we announce on Twitter and Facebook and the only reason I can't talk about Google Alert is I'm not a big Google person so I have to confess to being ignorant on that one. It may very well be a great way of getting alerted though.
When I was young software and hardware seemed expensive and I had no money. Now I'm older and less spritely but I do believe you get what you pay for. Who of us hasn't been through a number of consumer grade routers only to find them severely lacking. For me 1Password is one of those pieces of software where I have never thought twice about it.

Until I read this thread, I didn't know about Google Alerts. I'm glad I do now, so I bookmarked it. One more thing learned by hanging around here. Wonder what else Goodle offers that I would really like, so that they can scoop up my habits...
