I was doing some online shopping and used the 1Password extension on Safari to login to my account for the store and this error popped up. However, it still logged me in to the site without any issue. As far as I can tell, there doesn't seem to be any problem. :| But I thought I should report it. I don't know if that has to do with the recent update to El Capitan or not...???

    Hi @pghkatrina,

Thanks for the screenshot of the error messages, it's really helpful for us! I'm not quite sure why you're getting that error, but it's related to a small script that is used by the Mac App Store version of 1Password in order to automatically submit a Login form on a website after it fills your username/password.

Have you received the error again since you first saw it? If not, it's likely just a fluke and nothing to worry about. It's also possible that simply rebooting your Mac will solve that. But if you keep getting that error when signing into websites with 1Password, we can certainly look further into it. You could even just uninstall that script if necessary, as 1Password should still be able to submit Login forms for most sites.

If you keep getting that error, please let us know some more information:

    • What version of Mac OS X are you running?
    • What exact version of the 1Password app is installed on your Mac?
    • Are you using the Mac App Store version of 1Password?
    • Does the error happen every time you use 1Password to fill a Login form on a website?
    • Does it make any difference if you reboot your Mac?
    • What version of Safari are you using?
    • What version of the 1Password extension is installed in Safari?

    Thanks!

Sure thing. Haven't had the issue again since, but I'll keep an eye out for it. I try to my Mac updated. Just upgraded to El Capitan 10.11 and have Safari Version 9.0 (11601.1.56) running 1 Password 5.3 (53009) from App Store, Safari Extension 4.4.4. Pretty sure all of those are current.
