unfortunately Ive installed the new extension before uninstalling the extension for version 3
can i just disable the version 3 extension in chrome?

As long as you have 1Password 5 installed and working with the newer 1Password 4 Chrome Extension then yes, you can simply disable the 1Password 3 Chrome Extension to stop the nagging message :smile: Don't worry, there is absolutely no harm in the order you've performed these steps, the real reason to disable the old extension is so nobody gets confused and accidentally adds new items via the wrong extension :smile:
