Hello, I just purchased a new MacBook Pro and was curious if I'm able to transfer my 1Password license from my old machine to my new machine. The primary account will be used on the new machine and I can/will remove the 1Password application from my old machine.
Please let me know!
Thanks,

Hey @nickjmaloof! Congrats on the purchase. :) The new line of MacBook Pros are amazing.
Depending on whether you're syncing or not, there are several ways to move your 1Password data to your new computer. If you select "I've used 1Password before" button when setting things up on your new MacBook, you'll be asked whether your data is synced or if you have a backup. Here's our full guide to migrating things to a new computer: https://support.1password.com/guides/mac/new-computer.html

Hi @penderworth ! thanks for the quick response. I'm trying to determine if I can download 1Password again on my new computer for free or do I have to pay again? Is there a way to download it for free and then enter in my license?
Thanks!

Your license is was sold to you on a per user/per platform basis. You can use it on as many machines as you use yourself, provided they are on the same platform. So if you new Mac replaces and older Mac, you do not have to pay again.
If you bought your license originally from AgileBits at their web store, just download a new copy and apply your license to it to register it. If your copy came from the Mac App Store, you would download another copy while logged into that store under the same Apple ID you used for the purchase. In that case, there is no license to apply, because Apple handles licensing and ties it to the Apple ID used to buy it.
Licensing terms are discussed in more detail here.

@nickjmaloof What hawkmoth said is correct: There's no need to purchase 1Password again for your new computer. If you purchased 1Password on the AgileBits Store, you can download the app from the Downloads page and get started using your current license. However, it's important to mention that you didn't mention what version of 1Password you purchased.
If you have version 3, you can upgrade to the current version 5 at a discounted price as long as you purchased through the AgileBits Store. If you purchased version 4, the license is the same as version 5. :) You mentioned "entering" your license, and the current version of 1Password uses a license file instead of a key, so you may have an older version.
If you don't have a copy of your license, you can request that we send you a new one here: https://agilebits.com/store/licenses
If you purchased through the AgileBits Store and would like to upgrade your copy of 1Password, simply head to this page: https://agilebits.com/store/upgrade
Let us know how things go, and if you have any questions we're here to help out. :)
