How do I export usernames and passwords to a database or print?

It's possible that I might need to log-in to one of my secure websites from someone else's computer, with no access to my portable devices or computer. Without 1Password I haven't a clue about my usernames and passwords for 99% of sites where I need to log-in. How can I export that from 1Password to a printable file?

One of the very active members of these forums wrote some data converters for 1Password. Those include a utility which allows you to print your 1P data in a rather better format than the native printing facility. You might look at that.

However, please note that it may not be wise to have lying around a full print of all your 1P data. It's obviously not encrypted :) and if you mislay it at any time the finder will have access to all of your critical information.

    Hi @kendo,

I hope Stephen's reply was helpful for you! I also wanted to mention that 1Password for Mac has a Print option (in the File menu), in case that helps. That's a bit easier than using the data converters, but the formatting will be very different and probably not as efficient.

As far as needing to access your data from another computer, a better (and much more secure) option would be to use the 1PasswordAnywhere feature, which is explained here: Can I access 1Password while away from home/traveling?

Hopefully this helps, but please let us know if you have more questions. We're here for you! :)
