Since upgrading to OS X 10.11, I no longer have the 1P toolbar icon. Is there a way to get it back?

    Hi @brettr,

When you say toolbar icon do you mean in the OS X menu bar or do you mean the extension icon that sits inside your browser?

The menu bar icon is controlled by an option in the General tab of 1Password's preferences. It's enabled by default though but if you see the Show mini app icon in the menu bar is unchecked that would certainly be the cause and the solution. If it is checked you could see what happens if you disable and then re-enable.

If it is the toolbar of your browser that's a different matter and the instructions will be specific to your preferred browser. If you could let us know which it is we can tailor the instructions to your case. Either way we should be able to help you resolve this

Starting yesterday, the mini app icon (in the OS X toolbar) started showing up. I check the preferences and that setting was already checked. Thanks.

    Greetings @brettr,

If the issue returns please do tell us. Otherwise I hope 1Password simply serves you well
