You need to buy a license for the Mac version of 1Password. You can do that at the Mac App Store or directly from AgileBits at their web store. Be sure you understand that only the version sold by Apple will be able to use iCloud for syncing. iCloud is only an option for the version sold by Apple. Both versions allow using Dropbox or wifi syncing, though.

Then for your iOS devices, you also need to get a copy of 1Password for iOS from Apple's iTunes App Store. That's the only source for iOS application from any developer. It is free to download and use in its basic form. If you find you want or need the more advanced Pro features, you will need to activate them through an in-app purchase on on of those devices. The Pro features will then be available to you on all of your iOS devices that use the same Apple ID.

Having a license for one platform doesn't affect an other platform, so you need a copy for each of the ones you use. The licenses are sold separately by platform.

    Hi @BeachDogs,

I hope you don't mind, I've deleted the duplicate posts here. As indicated by hawkmoth, the Mac app is the only thing you'll need to purchase in order to use 1Password on all those devices. As it is available from two locations, here's an article comparing the two versions:

Should I buy 1Password from the AgileBits Store or the Mac App Store?

And here's our Pro Features FAQ to help you decide if you'd like to make the optional in-app purchase for Pro Features in 1Password for iOS.

Feel free to respond here if you have any further questions we can help you with. Thanks for choosing 1Password! :)

@BeachDogs: Often it is helpful to manually save a login so 1Password has all the information it needs to fill it:

If you're still having trouble, be sure to tell us the OS, 1Password, and browser versions you're using, the exact steps you're taking, and what is (or is not) happening the way you expect so we can figure out the best plan of action.

The more information you can give, the better. For example, are you having trouble with a specific website? If so, the URL will be helpful. Thanks in advance! :)
