Hi @pomfritz,
Sorry to hear everything was imported into Secure Notes! Although there's no option to convert those into other item categories (aside from copying/pasting the data), MrC might be able to help you re-import your data so they end up in the right categories in the first place. He's created data converters to help import data from various other password managers, so depending on the source of the file you imported, that might be a solution for you.

Thanks for the converter. I used it to move mSecure data over. I created a CSV file and on a Mac using terminal it. I flawed you instructions and considering my limited experience actually typing in commands on a black screen, it worked!
I saw that some things did import into the correct category, but about 1/2 did not so I will manually move them around. Better than doing the whole thing.
Is there some way of importing Apple keychain data? Seeing how unprotected this data was in my browser settings is what prompted me to switch to 1Password.

Hi @pomfritz ,
Nice job!
Its a tough challenge trying to anticipate everyone's needs with respect to converting the records from their current password manager into categories that work best with 1Password. I try to place things where they make sense, but some things are really all about user preference, so an automated solution falls short. That said, if there were obvious errors, I'd like to know what they are. Most of the time it turns out users have customized their password manager's categories or record fields, so the converter cannot detect the change, and falls back to placing items in Secure Notes. But the converter often can be easily adjusted to accommodate those changes, and then the re-conversion can place items where you'd like them to go. Feel free to ask for more help on this if you want.
For Keychain data, the converter suite also has a Keychain converter . Just follow the instructions!
