Many of my 1Password items have pdf or jpg documents that no longer open. Any idea how to fix this?
I have a number of 1Password entries to which I attached pdf or jpg files. For example, a pdf copy of a sales receipt. I've noticed that many of these no longer open in 1Password. They show as pdf or jpg attachments, but they can't be opened. Any idea why this is and how to correct this?
In some cases I kept separate copies of the documents so I can reattach them, but in other cases those attachments are no longer available elsewhere because I thought that once I had them in 1Password I no longer needed to retain the files elsewhere. It'll be unfortunate if I can no longer open the files I included in 1Password as attachments.

Hi @gcv,
You say that you synchronise via Dropbox. Are the files visible on any of the other devices or Computers that you sync to? We are aware of a bug related to this that we identified and fixed a while ago but the bad news was the damage was irreversible. It didn't have to mean the items were lost though if you still have access to the original vault the items were added to. The original vault will still have the items and we can make sure they propagate to the other computers and devices. If you've started over at any point and repopulated a fresh vault using an Agile Keychain this won't be the same as having the original vault.
