Is there a shortcut to generate a new password?

Hi,

I'd like a global keyboard shortcut to generate a new password. I don't mean "open 1Password, press ⌘+N, then select the password" - I mean a shortcut that will stick a brand new password in my clipboard.

Does this functionality exist? If not, is there any way to access the password generation engine programmatically? Failing that, can I submit this as a feature request?

    Greetings @isokrates,

    I can say that the functionality doesn't currently exist and that I can't see how it can be accessed programatically. We don't have an AppleScript library and I don't believe a workflow that relies on keyboard input will work either. I think this will have to be a feature request. I wish I could have offered a more positive answer but to the best of my knowledge this isn't something 1Password currently does.
